Yesterday, one of my student's mom ran in to the driver's side of the red car. As you can see in the picture, it's pretty scraped up...I can't even open the driver's side.So, today I'm going to drop it off at the auto body shop and pray that they do a great job. :)
It was rather an adventure, trying to figure all this out and fortunately for us, the family is footing all the of the costs, including the rental car. I suppose it is as it should be, but I still feel awful about what happened. The funny thing is that the car was parked and I was inside. This will definitely make me a more cautious driver.

Crazy! I hit someone's car like this when I was at Northwestern. Big oops. She had been in a bunch of accidents, though, (and was parked in the fire lane) and didn't want anything to go through insurance, so in the end I didn't have to pay for her repairs! I got it easy, that time. It made me really careful when I back up, though. I hope it looks as good as new when its fixed.
